Here is an overview of the coming updates to Study.com's homeschool courses:
  1. We will be refreshing chapter and lesson content for over 10 courses in line with our commitment to keep our courses up to date with the latest educational material.
  2. We will be adding options for more projects and assignments so that you can have more choice when it comes to assessments.

The courses to be updated are:
  • 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade English: Homeschool Curriculum
  • High School Algebra I: Homeschool Curriculum
  • High School Algebra II: Homeschool Curriculum
  • High School Geometry: Homeschool Curriculum
  • High School Precalculus: Homeschool Curriculum
  • High School US Government: Homeschool Curriculum
  • High School Algebra I: Homeschool Curriculum
  • High School US History: Homeschool Curriculum

But wait! What happens if I am already enrolled in one of these courses? Will I lose current course progress?

Yes. Once the changes take place, you will lose progress made in the current version of the course. However, if the lessons you have already completed remain in the newly updated course, those lessons will be marked as ‘complete’. You will not have to redo lessons you have already completed.

Regarding your present course progress, we know you have invested time and effort into one or more homeschool courses. If you are close to completing a course, you may wish to prioritize earning your completion certificate prior to updates going live.

We are not making these changes until the first week of August, which means that you have until July 31 to complete any homeschool courses you are currently enrolled in!

The Study.com team is committed to making your transition as smooth as possible. If you have any questions about these updates, reach out to our team using the subject line ‘Homeschool Course Updates’ at https://study.com/contact/index.html .
